Oh, April! How busy you were! We started the month by celebrating our Baby Boy with a family shower. My sister flew in from Texas and my brother-in-law happened to be stationed in SWFL for the week. So, it turned out to be an exciting celebration weekend filled with lots of family time.
What we didn't expect though, is that our Gramnita, at 97 would give in to a fight she'd been fighting for a few years with her body slowly declining. On Saturday, we celebrated Baby Boy Ruth and on Sunday, we were saying our last good-byes to a woman I've known as a grandmother my entire life. it was such a bittersweet weekend for me. So, the month of April was filled with good and filled with heartache. Both of which, brought out new emotions ... for me and for my family.
Inspired by Amy Hale (@amyhale) on Instagram, I fell in love with her monthly current posts. Tweaked and adapted to fit me, I am excited to have a systematic way to track my growth.
Every month, I plan to answer the same questions and keep track of my walk in faith, motherhood and entrepreneurship.
Without further adieu, this is ALL ABOUT ME for the month of April 2018 ...
